One grey, cold day last winter, I started to wonder how to propagate my African violets. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I had lists of links.
- The Gesneriad Reference Web. The Gesneriad Reference Web documents the Gesneriaceae, with well over 2000 images and a number of botanically-oriented articles.
- The Gesneriad Society. This site is designed to introduce you to The Gesneriad Society, and to tell you about the exciting gesneriad plant family. I'm always excited to talk or write about the fascinating plants in the family Gesneriaceae--how they vary widely in form, color and size; the way they constantly change, having adapted to the rhythm of wet and dry seasons in their native tropical habitats; that, even in the depths of winter, on the coldest, grayest day, somewhere in the plant room or greenhouse, a gesneriad is just waking up.

I've propagated a few leaf cuttings of Gesneriads from time to time; I think that's one reason they are so popular -- they are so easy to spread around to friends!
Thanks for the links; I'll no doubt get some good out of them!
I'm glad you find it useful!
